Galaxy S8 vs LG G6 vs Sony XZ Premium vs iPhone 7 Plus vs: The Ultimate Battle

Samsung, Apple, LG, and Sony are amicably the giants in the smartphone industry and are always facing tough competitions on their respective devices this year. Samsung's much-awaited flagship, The Galaxy S8, and S8+ were announced at a special Unpacked event last week. While, MWC 2017's most high-profile flagships that have been already unveiled earlier this year, the LG G6, and Sony Xperia XZ Premium. On the flip side, the iPhone 7 Plus is undoubtedly Apple's excellent and best device to date.

Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display while the Galaxy S8 Plus sports a 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display. Both devices feature a 12-megapixel "Dual Pixel" rear camera with optical image stabilization and 8-megapixel front camera with autofocus. The Galaxy S8 is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 SoC in the US, and Exynos 8895 SoC for international, both come with 4GB of RAM and with 64GB inbuilt storage, supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 256GB.

The G6 is the first phone that was launched with the new UX 6.0. The LG G6 features a 5.7-inch QHD+ FullVision display. The new flagship is said to be the first smartphone featuring Dolby Vision and HDR10 tech. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with a 4GB RAM, its cameras come with a dual rear camera setup. The setup has two 13-megapixel sensors for the main and 5-megapixel wide-angle lens for the front. The LG G6 has a battery capacity of 3300mAh and IP68-rating for dust and water resistance.

Xperia XZ premium comes with a size of a 5.5-inch, 4K display with HDR. Powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset, it runs the latest Android 7.1.1. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium sports a 19-megapixel camera on the rear and a 13-megapixel for the front. Also, there's a top-end water resistance. Under the hood is 3230mAh nonremovable battery. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is Sony's new flagship wrapped with high-end innovation in the screen.

Apple's iPhone 7 Plus comes with 5.5-inch Full HD screen with wide color gamut. It is powered by quad-core Apple A10 Fusion processor with 3GB of RAM and equipped with 32GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. The iPhone 7 Plus added two 12-megapixel cameras, one wide-angle and one telephoto which features a 2x optical zoom. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus runs iOS 10 and has a 2900mAh non-removable battery. Also, iPhone 7 Plus is certified water-resistant IP67.
